Christmas is a great time for charity, a special occasion for focussing on others.
This year, iskn has decided to work with the Make-A-Wish® France association with which it shares motivation and values, thus creating a community of people committed to improving the life of sick children and their families, a community that shares the same faith: imagination is a source of strength and a wish, on its own, can transform lives.
This is why Make-A-Wish® is a symbol of hope, joy and, for some, healing. The Grenoble start-up will therefore participate in realising the wishes of children affected by serious illnesses.

iskn will make, from the 1st of December, an appeal for donations on its site. Before approving their purchase, iskn customers can participate by giving a donation of €10 or more for the benefit of Make-A-Wish® France. The total amount collected will allow the granting of a child’s wish.
In fact, in the fight against a critical illness, the wish is not an ephemeral gift. It is a meticulously planned trip, designed to give the hope, strength and joy that the child needs to fight against their illness. The wish allows these children to have something inaccessible, thus creating an experience where the impossible is achieved.
The accomplishment of the wish is considered by experts as a factor of motivation and hope for the future. The wait for and accomplishment of the wish has the effect of creating positive emotions and thus
The objective is to be able to grant the wish of Eliott, aged 12, who wants to meet Mickey during a trip with his family to Disneyland Paris.
The more donations received, the more children will have, with their families, extraordinary experiences. iskn is counting on the generosity of its customers to make this Christmas a magical day!

Created in 2005, Make-A-Wish® France is a non-profit association formed under the Law 1901; it is affiliated to the Make-A-Wish® International Foundation, an NGO recognised by the UN. For more than ten years, Make-A-Wish® France has granted the wishes of children, aged 3 to 17, suffering from serious illnesses.
It focusses on children whose lives are made difficult by the severity of the illness and the treatment they are following. Performed with the family, the wish brings hope, courage and joy in difficult times. Each wish reflects the child’s personality. The wish is gathered by volunteers trained in Make-A-Wish® France values, which privilege listening and respect for the families’ privacy.
Unique, it is custom designed with the support of partners and donors. In 2016, Make-A-Wish® France granted 129 sick children’s wishes including 19 “Wish assists” (wishes of foreign children present in France).
